Join us the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd for Reptile Weekend at Binder Park Zoo. Over the course of Reptile Weekend, members of the Michigan Society of Herpetologists will be exhibiting over 100 Reptiles and Amphibians from around the world. Visit the zoo either weekend and you will have the rare oppourtunity to see and touch some of the largestest and the cutest Reptiles and Amphibians in the world, including the three largest snakes species in the world (The Reticulated Python, The Green Anaconda, and the Burmese Python). We will also have Alligators, Caimans, Tegus, Monitor lizards, An Alligator Snapping Turtle, Red Eyed Tree Frogs, Marine Toads, more different kinds of boas and pythons than you can count on your hands and feet and not to mention a few of our native species as well.

Throughout the weekend we will be doing live presentations and be available to answer questions you may have not only on the Reptiles them selves but also on any captive care questions as well. Children will also get the unique opportunity to spend some time with the zoo's Giant Aldabra Tortoises at several times over the course of the weekend.
